For sale: Fancy buying Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s French winery?

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have found something else to fight over as the actress attempts to sell the former couple’s Miraval Chateau winery in France.

The pair has been fighting over child custody and other issues ever since Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016, and now she’s hoping to drag Pitt to court over the sale of their Nouvel, LLC wine company.

She claims her attempts to sell off her half of the property and business to her ex-husband were unsuccessful. Now she wants to sell it to a third party.

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, the actress turned humanitarian explains she is not allowed to enter into an agreement to sell marital assets without Pitt’s consent.

Jolie and Pitt bought the estate in 2011, before they were married. Later, they staged their nuptials in a chapel on the grounds and still own equal shares of the property plus its wine business.

Angelina Jolie: Emergency request to offload share

She has reportedly “exchanged many proposals” for a sale to the If Beale Street Could Talk actor over the past two years, but they have been unable to strike a deal. Her lawyers are asking lawmakers in California to allow her to offload her share in the French company.

“After all these years of trying to extricate herself from being business partners with her ex-husband on acceptable financial terms, Ms. Jolie is extremely desirous of closing the pending agreement for the sale of (her half of the estate),” the filing reads.

Her emergency request to sell Miraval Chateau has already been denied, and now a trial is pending if the former couple cannot agree on a way to end the winery stalemate.
